Hey Book Friends, Happy Sunday.
Hey All 👋🏽
Currently Reading: “The Murmur of Bees” by Sofía Segovia.
Alyssa Cole's "When No One Is Watching" is brilliant. The themes about race, racism, gentrification, history, and more, are peeled back like an exploding onion. It left me wanting more. As a horror & thriller film fan, I admit that this book was just as eerie as watching the screen.
Super sad the #weekend is almost over. Kinda need a few more days to recoup from doing nothing 😭
Hey Book Friends.
